This
time last year I had just had my first christmas in my lovely new home
and i was getting ready to head out to see in the New Year with the
Fireworks on the quayside to mark the first year of living in Newcastle.
Despite have initial reservations about the move I have absolutely
loved it.
As i saw in the new year i wondered how 2013 could ever match 2012 but do you know what? I think it has! Living in Newcastle gave me the opportunity to start volunteering at Newcastle parkrun
and i have loved every minute and have never looked back since starting
in May 2013, met a whole new group of friends and gained more
experience
June saw me interviewed with Seb Coe and volunteering at European Athletics Team Championships
July saw me do something that this time last year i could never have
imagined, running 5 miles in the olympic park finishing in the olympic
stadium an experience i will never forget.
I am so lucky to have the friends i have and their support, i feel so humbled and lucky.
May
i take the opportunity to wish my friends a Happy and Prosperous New
Year and all the best wishes for 2014. I look forward to what 2014 has
in store
2014 will see me and many other volunteers volunteering in Glasgow at Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games I look forward to the adventures that lie ahead.
Once again thankyou for valued friendship and look forward to what is in store.
All the best for 2014 xx
Do you think i should blog more regularly in 2014? let me know
