All the leaves are brown

Dear reader,

Autumn is most certainly in the air.

Had an early start this morning, with a train journey to London, got some work done on the train which made me happier now that I got it started. Sat next to a couple from the USA who have been visiting Edinburgh and the North East.

The train journey soon passed and arrived in London and got the DLR to Greenwich where we are staying. Lovely hotel and we got a cheap deal for it.

Had a lovely walk through Greenwich Park up the Royal observatory (up a very steep hill) but the views are certainly worth it when you get up to the top. Went to the royal observatory and visited the planetarium, saw an astronomy show and then visited the Greenwich Meridian Line.

It was lovely to then just have a walk though the park with the autumn leaves falling and the sun beginning to fade, brushing the leaves with my feet as I watched the world go by reflecting now the summer days are now gone and the days are getting even shorter with us going to Greenwich Mean Time next week. As the nights get longer I do wonder what this winter has in store, would love a mild winter like last year, hardly any snow and ice, which would be perfect but surely too much to ask for two years in a row?? Really not sure how to drive in ice/snow.

Action packed day in London tomorrow,, whats in store???

Well find out tomorrow, not entirely sure what time I will be able to post as going to theatre show tomorrow but will fit it in somewhere.
Claire x
