The Start Of The Story.. Setting the Scene

Dear reader,

I am not sure how yesterdays blog was received, todays a new day and like a new book a story has to begin somewhere, its not like a good book jumps straight into the action, leading the reader to be very confused as to what happened before.

Many years ago (well only a few.. well the years pass by very quickly these days dear reader). Talking online in status updates for example my words used to be short sentences with not much to say. Just been looking at my Facebook post from my first day working for the NHS at the start of my Business and Administration Apprenticeship and my status update read “enjoyed her first day at work-29th September 2008”  Back then I only had a couple of friends who commented and interacted with me.

Who would have known that 6 years later that my posts would not just be a few word sentences but full paragraphs worth. It mainly started in 2012 when my sentences got longer. I have a feeling it was to do with the fact of being a volunteer at London 2012 and having lots of experiences to share with my community of friends online

6 years later…. after leaving school I wouldn’t think that I would be blogging  more than a sentence, wouldn’t think I would have a full time job as even leaving school I really had no idea what to do in life, I wasn’t a student that thought Uni would be for me. I was incredibly lucky that I was in the right place at the right time to gain a placement in the NHS doing a level 2 Business and Administration NVQ, a level 3 and a full time job followed after the initial placement.. again lucky a job came up. The worst news ever came in 2010 when the department I was working in lost its funding and we were all redundant.. Little did I expect to be where I am today, luck must have been on my side. I expected to be out of work for months but was given an incredible opportunity to move to Newcastle and given a Job.. to which 44 months later ( 3 years 8 months- almost to the very day I write this) I still love.

I have really surprised myself, much like I can’t believe the length of this blog.. who would have thought it.

Blogtober continues.. Whats the next part of the story???!
